NORTHPIXELCASE STUDIES

How the work actually gets scoped.

Three worked scenarios: the problem, the architecture we would propose, and the outcome the model predicts. Figures are estimates, clearly marked.

ILLUSTRATIVE

Worked scenarios showing how we approach a problem. Figures are modelled, not measured client results.

HOME SERVICES 6 week build

A HVAC company missing forty calls a week

PROBLEM

Two office staff answering phones between 8 and 5. Out-of-hours calls went to voicemail, and roughly a third of emergency callers phoned a competitor instead of leaving a message.

APPROACH

A voice agent answers every call, captures the job, scores urgency against a fixed rubric and dispatches to the nearest available van. Anything ambiguous transfers to a human. Arrival windows go out by text.

MONTHLY RECOVERY

Recovery figure modelled from 40 missed calls per week at a 22% close rate and average job value. Not a measured result.

PROFESSIONAL SERVICES 5 week build

A law firm losing two days a month to document search

PROBLEM

Associates searching four thousand pages of contracts and discovery by hand. Answers were found eventually, but nobody could show where a clause came from without re-reading the file.

APPROACH

Hybrid retrieval with reranking over the corpus, answers locked to clause-level citations, and an explicit refusal when the documents do not contain the answer. Conflicts between documents are flagged rather than averaged.

MULTI-LOCATION RETAIL 8 week build

A group where every store answered policy questions differently

PROBLEM

Nine locations, one outdated handbook and a head office inbox handling the same twenty questions every week. Staff guessed rather than waited for a reply.

APPROACH

A permission-aware internal assistant over the handbook, HR policies and operations wiki. It cites the paragraph behind every answer, logs every query, and surfaces the questions nobody can answer so the handbook gets fixed.
